Family Systems Approach
Genogram Process
We take a Family Systems approach to therapy, using the collaborative completion of a Genogram—a detailed family map—to uncover and explore multigenerational patterns. This process helps us acknowledge the powerful influence of our family-of-origin, offering insight into how past dynamics shape who we are today and how we engage in relationships.

Through a family systems lens, we’ll explore how your current relationship patterns—whether in partnerships, families, or friendships—are deeply rooted in early familial experiences. We are shaped by those systems, and rarely do we connect with others by chance. By examining the dynamics passed down through generations, we can begin to see how conditioned roles, behaviors, and emotional responses have influenced our lives and relationships.

As we strengthen our sense of self and establish healthy boundaries, we create the conditions for real change. This internal shift allows us to move away from disconnection and toward more authentic, effective communication. Together, we’ll work on reshaping the ways you express your needs, relate to others, and experience emotional intimacy.

This work is designed to help you better understand your origins, transform long-held patterns, and heal relational distress—ultimately fostering deeper connection, clarity, and self-awareness in your relationships and within yourself.
